The minimum balance to open the account is $10.00. The minimum balance to obtain the APY is $10.00. The interest rate may change after the account is opened. Maintenance or activity fees may reduce earnings. Transfers from a savings or money market account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized or automatic transfer are limited to six (6) per month (for Passbook Savings) or per cycle (for Statement Savings) with no more than three (3) by check, point-of-sale (POS), draft, debit card, or similar order to third parties. Transfers exceeding these limitations are subject to an "Excess Transfer Fee."

For those customers who like to have a passbook, we offer a regular Passbook Savings Account. We also offer a Statement Savings Account, which has a convenient monthly statement rather than a passbook. The Statement Savings Account also gives you the added advantage of an ATM VISA CheckCard which allows you 24 hour, seven day a week access to your funds. And if you sign up for our direct deposit service, you will receive a 50% discount on any transaction fees you incur when using a non-Citizens-Union ATM.

Cub Club Account

Designed especially for children under the age of 13, Cub Club Accounts help teach a regular savings habit. The child receives a newsletter, membership card, coin savers, and special pin. Cub Club Accounts earn passbook savings interest and operate as a passbook account. The minimum balance to open a Cub Club account is $1.00. The child must maintain a minimum balance of $3 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed APY. The interest rate may change after the account is opened.
