     Fall River, MA - Citizens~Union Savings Bank president and chief executive officer Nicholas M. Christ recently announced the election of Kevin M. Braga to assistant vice president/risk management and compliance officer. 
     Mr. Braga began his career with Citizens~Union Savings Bank in 2002 as an operations assistant and was promoted to operations supervisor in 2003.  In 2004, Mr. Braga became risk management and compliance assistant and was promoted to compliance officer in 2005.
     As assistant vice president, Mr. Braga will be responsible for coordinating the establishment of policies and procedures necessary for compliance with state and federal banking laws throughout all departments within the Bank and its affiliates. He will also oversee an institution-wide risk management program, which includes the development and implementation of tools needed to effectively measure and control risk and compliance.
     Mr. Braga holds a Master's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Boston University.
