Certificates of Deposit earn high interest over a specified period of time. A minimum balance of $500 is required to open the account. You must maintain a minimum balance of $10 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed APY. Interest is compounded monthly and paid monthly. A variety of terms ranging from 30 days up to 5 years is available. The interest rate is based on the term chosen.
